Bruichladdich's flagship unpeated single malt release, made with 100% Scottish barley. It's also bottled at a hearty 50% ABV, which is a chunk higher than equivalent releases from almost all other distilleries. This refreshingly light single malt combines an array of whiskies from 76 different casks spanning four different vintages, seven cask types and three barley types. Each bottle comes with a code on the bottle that you can type into Bruichladdich's website to find out more information about every whisky in the blend, including cask types and, sometimes, fill dates. The Classic Laddie doesn't have an age statement or rigid cask bill, but it's always made with Scottish barley and never chill filtered nor artificially colored. It is crafted by master distiller Jim McEwan from individually selected casks to showcase the classic, floral and elegant Bruichladdich house style. This Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky is made from 100% Scottish barley, trickle distilled, then matured for its entire life by the shores of Loch Indaal in premium American oak casks, it is a testament to the quality of Bruichladdich's ingredients.
