Piccini Collezione Oro Chianti Riserva DOCG 750ml is a premium Italian red wine from the Chianti region. It is part of the Piccini family's Collezione Oro line, which aims to bring quality Italian wines to families worldwide. This Chianti Riserva is a modern reinterpretation of the classic Chianti, combining the most modern and exuberant tones. It is made from 90% Sangiovese and 10% Cabernet grapes, selected during the harvest for their high quality. The wine is aged for 9 months, with 30% in barriques and 70% in oak barrels, and then further aged in the bottle for a few months before release. It has an intense ruby red color and offers powerful aromas of red cherry, wild berry, and spice, with a subtle green note of cut grass. On the palate, it is compact and firm, with a warm embrace of red fruits intertwined with the softness of tannins. This wine pairs beautifully with hearty dishes such as grilled meats, aged cheeses, and robust pasta dishes.
